ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

We are currently recruiting a permanent position for?ACCOUNTS PERSON
to work as part of our Administration Team. L?Arche Cork invites
applications from suitable candidates.
This is a 0.4 WTE permanent part ? time position.
There is a 6-month probationary period applying to the employment.

JOB PURPOSE & ROLE

ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Accounts payable system. Candidates will have strong people skills
and understand the critical nature of the accounts systems
administration, together with high-level communication and negotiation
skills.
* Candidates will have a sound knowledge and experience in
operations, maintenance and development of accounts payable system.
* Procurement
* Candidates will have experience of working as part of a team and
have a proven record of accomplishment of dealing with customers and
suppliers.
* Banking: Receipt and lodgements, banking on line and monthly bank
reconciliations.
* Resident?s Holiday and events bookings.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, ETC.

* Eligible applicants will be those who have satisfactory experience
of working in a similar setting, such as services for people with
disabilities or other care agencies or a SME.
* Hold an accounting technician qualification.
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
* Candidates must hold a full-clean driving license.
* Experience with working with Surf Accounts, Sage Line **Apply on
the website** or similar accountancy software.
* Experience with MS **Apply on the website** applications and MS
Outlook.
* Proficient in MS Excel.
